1. The private testing option doesn't seem to work. It will still load opponents regardless of if I set private testing to "on". Then if I remove all opponents from the opponents list then it won't even let me proceed. The only thing that works is manually having to change amount of A.I. opponents down to 0 every time I want to test on my own. 2. How do I actually start a "test" session. At the moment RF2 really only has 1 game mode, it is always in "race weekend" mode, and if you don't actually want to race then you just uncheck "race", but the game still treats the testing as a weekend practice session, with a practice session time limit, seemingly ignoring the private test setting, etc.
1. Private Testing will make the AI not appear on the track while you're driving. 2. Testing and Practice are one and the same thing now, as far as I know.
1. You can see the driver names in list and go on board with them, but once u join the track you don't see them. 2. just take the qualifying and race green ticks off in race settings (found at top of your screen).
As it's already been said, 'private practice' just controls whether you see AI cars ontrack whilst you're driving, if you're driving with no AI then the setting doesn't really matter.
