I guess it's the aero. A while ago I talked to a formula one similar car owner. He said the down force of the car slows down the car as much as you would heavy braking a normal street car. But I don't know if that's similar with the Benz. I'm just guessing[emoji6]

Maybe aero, but its also happening at slow pit-lane speeds, so I don`t know if aero works there... Slowing down definitely stands out in this car. Before some turns at Silverstone I almost or completely didn`t use the brakes, just lift-off throttle.

I noticed the same thing with the Sauber at Sebring.

You're right nibo. At low speed the car shouldn't slow down dramatically when going of the pedal. Hm....maybe a piston seizure? [emoji16] maybe you could play in the garage with the engine brake?

I am LOVING these Group C cars, but I must admit I am getting quite the FPS hit with only this mod. I really can only race a handful of them at a time right now, but other mods I can literally clog the grid with as many cars as I can fit.

    Anyone else having this issue?

Great mod! Thanks for all your hard work!

Please, can you make the side mirrors independently adjustable? Right now they're useless.

All skins are 4096x4096. Perhaps a 2048x2048 carset would help with the FPS.

Sound reverb coming from walls and fences is a nice feature, and realistic in its concept. However, i find default RF2 config slightly exaggerated and overwhelming. For a closed cockpit car i recommend these config on player.json file:

-Player JSON file ("Sound Options", last section):

    ....
    "Reverb Decay":0.2,
    "Reverb Decay#":"Controls decay function (0.0=short, 1.0=long)",
    "Reverb Dry Volume":0.35,
"Reverb Dry Volume#":"Volume increase for original sound (0.0-1.0)",
    "Reverb Max Dist":9,
"Reverb Max Dist#":"Distance from wall at which reverb drops to zero",
    "Reverb Wet Volume":0.52,
"Reverb Wet Volume#":"Reverb volume multiplier (0.0-1.0)",

I also recommend this for a more realistic Doppler effect:

    "Speed Of Sound":348,
    "Speed Of Sound#":"348m/s at 28ºC",

Agree with that, I just reduced the "Distance" parameter on my side.
    I will test your proposition

I been working on suspension geometry, to give more control to the drivers, and increase the feedback too. Plus the Mazda now include the new fuel Mixture feature instead old method.

I have been out of RF2 from some months.
Tried the recently the 0.95 version, impressive improvement, physics, skin and beautiful C11.
    Great job.

We are testing the next release right now. The handling will be improved on the Porsche and Mazda, and they will feel more natural, with less tendency to spin over his own axe. New suspension geometry improves how the tyres makes contact with the asphalt, avoiding a constant flexion of the tyres with changes on the ride height.

The Mazda will have the new Mixture feature instead the old boost that we used to manage fuel consumption as a temp solution.

The Porsche engines suffered some changes too, most of the work was at the mid RPM range to try to avoid the overlap of the torque peak and the turbo. Now the engines feel more flexible and easy to manage, and both engines now highlight their own characteristics.
