No one is attacking you mate.

First off, people tried to help you, myself included, by providing the knowledge we have about resolving this particular issue.
Your writing style is a bit abrasive, so naturally a few people reacted negatively to your replies.

Then you pretty much lost everyone when you started calling people dimwits and clowns for trying to help you.

Not everything is rF2 is straight up plug and play, nor is it supposed to be.
It's one of the sim's strengths, that it can be tailored and tweaked to suit any given racing scenario.
That's including improving the setup of the AI cars.

Anyway, I'll probably regret asking this question, but are you sure the AI is forced to the oval config in the tuning menu?
    Which ovals have you tried?

Im sorry if my writing style is a bit abrasive but im a slow typer so im direct & straight to the point
I tried INDY a good solid ISI track. Also road America & Bathurst
Yep that is the 1st thing I did I do it for every car before I go into a race Then I went on track it didn't work so I went in & started giving the AI my set up but only a small improvement.

I'm painting a set of "Trans Am Inspired" cars....they won't be spot on, but you'll recognize them....and that's the fun of it isn't it?

It's 1000 times easier you go every track you're intending to race and create an AI setup than ISI recode all AI behavior. And, very probably, more effective.

C'mon, it can be fun after all. An open platform has their pros and cons, enthusiasts have to deal with it.

Looking into the Dissenter RCD file, one notes reference to a track we've not seen called "Fallston", very likely an oval.

Additionally, the Dissenter introduces yet another AIW path called "LOW_DOWNFORCE_FAST" which is currently only available at the longer Toban layouts.

    Good observation, Emery!

Just another example of ISI providing all of the tools for modern to create "more optimized" mods with regards to performance at specific tracks. Now, it's up to them to actually take advantage of what's been given to them. This is all very cool in concept. *thumbs up*

Thanks for your help & input:D. But I really don't think it is an AI set up thing. Every time I go to try & fix things I seem to stuff it up & nothing works Im a racer not a programme guru:eek: Just a nut behind the wheel

All the links to this mod and the bathurst track mod posted by the same user are dead. The medifire links say the following...

Why are these not being uploaded to the steam workshop, and why are these being posted in the News & Notifications thread as i thought there were separate sections for third party content and News & Notifications is for Studio397 to update us on releases and updates.

LOL... doesn't look like you're new around here, so I'm wondering why you think what you do?

These were original ISI files, not third party, and predate the migration to Steam. However, they've also been uploaded on Steam in Studio397's Workshop https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=537639404. FYI, Tim Wheatley was an ISI employee.

The Steam Workshop does have a nice little search feature you can use. Enter Dissenter in it and up pops https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=537639404. Enter Bathhurst in it and up pops https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=537639404
