1971 Can Am at MidOhio

There is a Goodwood Revival that features Can-Am cars. At first, it is just Chevy V8, Chevy V8 etc. But then some other engines start showing up, the Ferrari V12 and the beautiful raucous noise difference is better than any music soundtrack. I'll see if I can find it.
Well, this is not the one I was searching for, but it does have some very clean recordings of some of the engines. I would like to find something similar with one of the Ford powerplants that Dan Gurney often drove. A shorter stroke and slightly faster revving plus a rpm limit that was usually 500rpm or so above the Chevys. I'm curious if there was a decided difference in engine sounds.
Incredible that most of the engines were modified crate motors, often the work done by the Southern Californian Hot Rod shops that began in the 50's and flourished til the gas crises in the early 70's.

you may note that many of the 'stacks' poking up from the engines had wire mesh covers. That is because there was someone in the pits that would drop a nut or bolt into the intake horns which would cause disastrous results.
