1960s World Class Racing + All Tracks [vMod]

Just curious... Has anyone had problems changing tracks while online with this vMOD?

privatebrian and myself have been experiencing problems on my server "F3 Fanatics!" while either advancing to next circuit or via the /callvote event command line.

The problem is, is rFactor2 crashing to the desktop. It doesn't happen every time... I hate intermittent problems!

Any feedback will be helpful.

Last night I had no pb at all. And it was fun!!!

 

Both Phoenix and I cannot get on the server at all. It's cream instead of yellow?

 

That tends to suggest you have a different version of rF2 and/or a different version of the mod its running.

 

Dave,the server is now called "F3 Fanatics!",not F3s @ ??? = Fun,i think that might be
why you cannot get on.hope this helps,would be good to see you guys back.

Will there be an update for version 1.3 of Mills Metro Park, which came with the Renault Clio Cup Mod, for the new layout and updated versions of the old ones?

Edit: I've already created one for myself with the new versions of Mills, Fuji etc but have not uploaded it online yet because I don't want to split or confuse the online community with a second vmod which includes (almost) the same content as Mauro's existing one.

 

in next days i will release an update with recent official+addon tracks updates (mills, botniaring, fuji, topeka and eventually croft?).

I'm not bitching, just trying to understand.

1) why, if it's the 1960's WCR All tracks vmod, do we need the Clios, Meganes, etc installed? Wouldn't the WCR cars alone be good enough?

2) Why do you keep coming out with a new 1.0 vmod- can't you come out with updates so this would be something like the 1.3 version? That way we don't have to uninstall the old mod....

 

-clio is needed for the new Mills's layout.

- this is a v.1.01 version (the 4th version of this vmod)
i prefer this way for not have many files to download and to insert in package folder (original install, update 1 + update2 + update3 + update4, etc...)
it's the same way you have to use for use new fuji and topeka tracks version: uninstall old and install the new.


P.S. earlier SearsPoint track version have used the incremental updates system and a lot of people had problem with the right version, so i prefer to use a clean vMod full install.

 

OK, I thought it was another 1.0, i misread. I didn't know about the new Mills layout, so that makes sense. And I had forgotten about the Sears Point thing. It never bothered me, but I remember some others getting annoyed with the versions and some online issues.

Thanks for the info! Thanks for the mod too- it has become a standard for online servers running WCR. I can't wait for v3.9 (well, I figure around that version anyway) and all the tracks that will be included

If I use this Spa gets strange rubbering using F3.

On the run up to Blanchimont and other places they drive on right and left leaving 2 distinct rubber lines and leave the middle green.


Never had this happen in default F3

 

Guys, can you do anything to make F2 cars with wings (F2 car > Tuning > wings) usefull on serves?? this upgrade is making for example Spark_F2 into Spark_F2B and this car does not pass filter

 

Just a guess mind you but I think it depends whether the server has enabled Fixed Upgrades in Vehicle Filters Menu.

If I knew how to make the mods I would have had one up on Friday.

ie: missed a whole weekends lappin'

 

Yikes: I followed the instructions above, and now 1960s WCR All Tracks doesn't show up.

 

I don't think there is a new vmod ( v1.03) yet, tyres need to be added. ?
