You were first one to join my Discord, after respectfully typing in "no tks". Congratulations. What is the problem ?
Your cars are too nice to give up because of Discord. I already solved it, thanks and congratulations to you
I had been away from rFactor2 for quite some time. I don't know what Simons' is so I can't give an honest comparison. I'm waiting for the F3 Fanatics to run these for real instead of a 'trial/test'. Then I'll be back to race again. And yes, this is the crap I want
@Tucker Fleming Yes, please compare. Because otherwise if it is not sarcasm, then it is absurdly sad. Eitherway, if it brings good emotions even if quality is not that high, then there is good side for it too, because for some people even great things aren't bringing any good emotions. Sometimes it is even reversed, good is hated, bad is celebrated.
Had to be said. Maybe it is not great fit for a thread in terms of classy polite manner. But there is a war against beauty going on. What confuses you ? Please ellaborate. Spoiler: I can ellaborate although I have had already. ****** If it is about me being unhappy about how lower effort mods are being taken equal to high effort mods, then yes that grinds my gears a lot. I think it has always been going on in rF2, but was getting worse. I haven't been in AC for a long time, but I suppose it is probably like that too. Too ellaborate my point further, I want to say that I am not upset that people find lower case mods enjoyable too. I find it very problematic when higher level mods aren't adequately placed above. I think that extends to official content. S397 and MSG has produced fantastic content in later years, and just now Zolder came. They aren't adequately welcomed. It looks like LMU did help though. I haven't seen nearly enough appreciation for stunning, incredible models that Mexes had made, and simply shared with simracers. To me that is mindblowing. Mediocore flat physics, or worse than that also seem to have suprisingly high appreciation relatively to really good stuff. This is not only a matter of content vs content within sim, but also on a scale of simulation vs simulation. In this case the lower quality will always win, when it is seen right besides higher quality product while being easier to create and comes in higher frequencies and larger quantities. I guess this way system naturally downregulates to what people are worth of (what they wants), IDK. We see it all the time everywhere IRL - from cars to buildings, from arts to... ***** In case you are confused about something else, then LOOOOL WHUT hahaha. I am bewildered too. Like yours truly, all I am trying to do is to provide some good cars to people and hope they see it that way, thats all.
Frankly I'm a bit confused. I thought the cars I listed were made by you. Now I'm not sure. I know you have these updated versions of some of the cars, and I know I have 'other' older versions from a Goodwood Revival carset. I'm going to guess that you have continued work on these. but they're not yours originally. Just a guess, and I'm pretty stupid so I'm probably wrong. That being said, I have tried both versions of the 250F that I have. One came with the Goodwood Revival set I listed in an earlier post. The other I got from your threads and Discord. I'm not a mechanical car guy, I just drive. The older version from of the 250 was easier to handle on the Goodwood course. The version I got from you was more torque and I had to be much more careful with input, both throttle and wheel. Your version has a different steering ratio that took a bit of getting used to, but I loved it after a couple laps and adjusting my style a bit. A very pleasurable experience. My lap times in the 'other' 250 are faster, but I think if I practice a bit more I can get the newer version up to speed. All in all I appreciate your work very much. I see you suffering over it, as a true artist should And these are very nice works. Thanks Mantasisg
