Woo, I think you can see issue here

That is my roaming folder after making 2nd test mod TEST2.rfmod
Yes, first cleaned out the old files and Mastemp folder
I added Longford and your Cobra, packaged, installed and closed MAS2
The pkginfo.dat.bak file was empty IE: 0kb
If I then click Edit Existing Mod Package MAS2 will shutdown.

All my rfmods the pkginfo.dat.bak files are various sizes depending on amount of content.
    None are 0KB

IE: I save the MASTemp and pkginfo files for every rfmod so I can edit any anytime.

If you are unfamiliar with MAS 2 you can only make so many rfmods until MAS2 will CTD and corrupt the pkginfo files
Meaning you can't edit any of the rfmods you have made and have to rebuild the lot.
Using GME ( Generic Mod Enabler ) you can save these files and activate when needed to edit in MAS2 easy.

No worries but, just funny for years was the Howston now the Cobra does it ;)

Sorry to hijack thread and being a buzzkill.
Here is how I control and maintain all rfmods for editing with MAS2.

    1. Batch file cleans roaming.
    2. Enable the OVGME rfmod you want to edit
    3. Open MAS2 click edit
    4. After edit and test copy files in Roaming overwriting the GME mod for next time.
Personally I think it's pretty clever, better then letting MAS2 eventually crash over and over.

It was only when I brought Pesaca other day.
The first mod to change of course was yours no doubt closely followed by F3 Rookies and other Historic rfmods.
That is when I discovered the CTD was back.

i haven't really done any making of rfmods, but i've received advice from a couple of people who would know much better than me that it's best to create new ones instead of editing existing ones. I don't know if that would help you or not. Apparently editing is prone to crashing in a way that making new one isn't. I don't know any more about it than that
I haven't changed anything about the way the G4 and Cobra cmps are packaged, so they should be a consistent factor

No worries woo it is easy to make new rfmods.

Just to be clear I was talking about a brand new rfmod.
It still crashes as soon as you click edit.
If anyone can make a rfmod with just the Cobra and test edit please to confirm I not crazy.
I already tested stock Cobra + woo's Cobra in a rfmod and it still crashes.

The reason others make new rfrmods is because eventually Mas2 will overload and crash from too many mods being made if you don't clean the appdata\roaming folder.

    It is a bug.

My method solves / works around this bug and makes that impossible

It was just that your rfmod is the only one I can't edit, then after a update it started to work again, then after the last update the Cobra stopped working. lol I was more interested in why is all.

All good, Historic Endurance ( your cars ) and best Historic Endurance tracks makes a wicked mod...in my all time top 3 . :)

P.S. Of course woo I know nothing about modding ( said so 100 times ) but I suspected it may be the numbering or ID.
Like I said, I have 30 rfmods with every single car and track sharing them.
I can edit all of them except one. Itch I can't scratch nothing more not a Biggie :)
