Well I am smiling finally! Fanatec Club Sport Wheelv2.5 with Clubsport v3 pedals...I finally got to drive the GTE Ferrari I bought and did about 20 laps at Lime Rock. FFB is too strong for me, at first it was reversed, felt like it was pulling me into corners. Got that sorted, assigned a few commands and off I went. It will probably take most of the weekend just getting the various commands assigned, Got the BMW M3 GT2 wheel. It feels too big but I'll adjust. I was hoping for that Formula wheel, but my budget ran out. The wheel and base were a package price. Monitor sits too low now but I'll find a phone book or something to lift it up. My keyboard is on my lap, no place on the desk right now. Yummie!
Have a look at my post about settings for CSW2.5, I have had my wheel for about a year now and found these settings to work really well, the Fanatec recommended settings for RF2 are crap. Hope it will be of help. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/fanatec-wheel-base-drivers.66464/
The only odd response I've found so far was with the Audi GT3 at Watkins Glen with the Boot. At the bottom of the boot as you brake for the uphill right-hander, the sensation of tire grip got odd, not MERC GT3 odd, just like on sand or snow....like the tire was on a soft surface, and only as the car compressed for that corner.... I haven't done enough laps yet to understand all the ffb, but I'm working on it...
Iv'e tried the 2018 and 2019 Audi GT3 at Watkins Glen and they both felt OK to me. Try setting FFB SMOOTHING to 3 in RF2 it may help and FOR to 50 in the wheel settings. I have found the braking in some cars does feel a little strange on some tracks but overall 98% of the time the settings in my post work well.
