On iRacing Nürburgring has it's own series which is successful so yes it's own title with many different cars would definitely sell.
They're fun on road courses too. I only remember the one week when the X cars were at Indy.

It's a no fault system. You don't have to run a bunch of rookie races to get back to silver, just a couple I'm sure.
