Yes as Lazza says it doesn't change your seat position. The screen is roughly 22" from my eyes.

I checked player.json after your reply and it was set to 51. Today when I start up it has reverted to 33. I feel this must be another glitch...
How do I set FOV so that it won't default to 33 degrees? I recently changed my FOV to 51 degrees but when I restart rF2 it has defaulted back.
