I have a Thrustmaster T150 steering whell and i choosed Pure 360....isnt the best more natural setting ? i mean if i choose canned effects i ll join the game more ?
ATTENTION PLEASE. If anyone have problem with game crash threre is a post at AMS forum that explains what to do in order to fix the "crash to desktop bug". usually lowering the sound Post proc effects quality to lowest and loging as Administrator solves the problem but if not just google the problem and you ll find solution from their post Cheers AMS rules
A Windows update a few months ago broke Automobilista's anti-aliasing. Neither Microsoft or Nvidia have done anything to correct it. The fix that worked for me: Go to steamapps/common/ams Right-click ams.exe Select Properties Select Compatibility Tick "Disable full-screen optimisations" Nvidia Inspector should work now. If not, check that AMS's config settings in Steam are set correctly. Good luck.
If that doesn't work: In your Nvidia Profile Inspector profile, change Anti-Aliasing Compatibility to "Diablo III". It will make AA work reasonably well but still not as good as before Microsoft broke it.
Oh, that's good to hear. Automobilista must look very nice with your settings. Is there any chance of a screenshot?
Snetterton and Donington should be released today if everything works fine. I know what to do this evening. A lot of good messages in this thread and I'm really happy to see some fans of AMS here. The quality is absolutely outstanding and AMS is my no.1 among the sims out there due to it's fantastic and intuitiv handling. Yesterday I had a fun race with the Porsche Cup Car (Boxer), next week on Sunday a hard one must be controlled: Ultima 720 @ Goiania @memoNo1 Ever tried Automobilista?
Leo Bodnar made the Leo's plugin, not the realfeel https://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Leo's FFB plugin
While technically realfeel was provided by ISI, since realfeel just uses the game's steering arm force (but adds scaling options). I tried AMS only briefly recently and didn't enjoy it much, for the same reason I stopped playing rF1 after rF2 came out. But I gather it's polished and would probably be good to race online with. Heck, 500 users above... if we had that online in rF2...
We will feature an rF2 server running Reiza + S397 content open to all very soon but I would like to be able to set rotating cars/tracks on client...seems I can rotate only tracks...
Hello guys, I have a question Do you guys feel like RF2 cars handle much easier than AMS ? or is it just me ? For comparison take any latest car from s397 and AMS just to get latest version of physics etc.
1 / Download Nvidia Inspector, which allows access to all parameters of your nvidia GPU. 2 / Start Nvidia inspector 3/ Create a profile for automobilista by pointing to the .exe of Automobilista. 4/ Changes the following settings : * Change Anti-Aliasing Compatibility to "Diablo III" (IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL). * Put MSAA X2 (or X4) associated with SGSSAA (Sparse Grid Supersampling) X2 (or X4). 5/ Save the profile. 6/ Go to Nvidia Control Panel. 7/ In the general profile, select if you are in full HD the option "DSR", and put X4 (equivalent 4K). 8/ There is something to do in the game's AA graphical settings (before start), but I do not know what. I no longer have Automobilista installed, I can not help you more.
- In VR, sparse grid and gtx 1080, no. - On 1080p monitor, gtx 1080 and sparse grid X2, yes (I recommend) (without DSR). - On 4K monitor, I recommend the AA of the game, not the sparse grid. I am not an expert, however.
