Yes,yes,my wheel broke down, the inbuilt power supply (T300RS) was defective and suddenly smells burnt after 2 years.Seems to be a most common defect!
So i decided to buy Thrustmaster TS-PC-Racer for a good price. It has the nice GT-Wheel style.
So,i tryed it yesterday...In the TS-Driver the standard settings for that wheel is 360 degree and 60% FFB strength...
In my old T300 i put it to 900 degree and about 75% FFB.
Anyone who has that wheel and can give me some Tips?I have my Alcantara wheel in the box, wich i used before.
    Many Thanx

First make sure to update the firmware of the base. Use the firmware update that comes with the driver installation.

    Profiler settings:
Overal strength 70% (most linear for ts pc)
Rest keep default which is 100%.

    Ingame:
    Min force 1%
    Smoothing max 2
FFB multi between 0.75 - 0.90 depending on the car. Gte/gt3/senna gtr/lmp2 all drive good with 0.80 without clipping.

Damper and Spring is set to 0.
What about the wheel rotation in degree?
It should match to the wheel animation on the screen,or?

Pretty much the above but I use a little damper. So 100 in cp but rf2 is set to 0.1 or something on the ini. Use 4 smoothing otherwise with the radical u get horredous shuddering. Set vehicle set rotation and gane will do automatically

Damper and spring do nothing so just leave them at 100.

Rotation wise just make sure u have the vehicle box checked inside rf2 control settings. That will make sure your physical wheel and ingame wheel match.

The higher u go with smoothing the more damped ffb will get. The ts pc is a belt driven wheel which is already damped. Even for the radical I use max 2 for smoothing. A side effect of too much smoothing is loosing the feel for the tire grip and thats the last thing u want.

Damper does do something u have to edit the controller json though. Trust me done it for years.

    Smoothing isn't dampening either!
It reduces the big hits of ffb signal to avoid massive jolts to your wheel. It smooths the signal so to speak.

    Sorry misinformation there mate

    Thanx both of you!
But wheel rotation in CP? 900 or 360 degree?
The pictures show the STANDARS TS settings for the GT Addon (see pic 3)!

I use ts pc 1 year and the best setting are 100 the power and 100,100, 0,0 in the TM control panel. I think is more direct than another posible configuration and the ffb is very good.

That is only my opinion. Now I have a DD and is another wrold.

To do what? If to add damper it's activated by just you adding damper in the wheel profile. Default its like 0. 1 so it very small amount. Think its Steering resistance coefficient 0.1 would be 10% 1.0 would be 100% damper.

Irl car steering are natural dampened and I prefer that feel in sim .Im not keen on a loose drifters wheel so to speak. But with dampening comes a friction to countersteering. So not having too Much is key.

    https://www.racedepartment.com/thre...based-on-seriously-flawed-assumptions.124937/

    Good TM settings are :

Then choose a FFB mult ingame which avoid excessive clipping (use DAMPLUGIN and MOTEC).

Take GT3, around Sebring, dry, medium tyres, one lap, avoid grass and vibrator.

    Then check damplugin.

And you ajust the FFB mult to have few clipping.

Then put some FFB min torque (don't know how many I have a T300) and depends of the overall FFB force.

    VERY IMPORTANT :

    FFB Filter = 0..................!!

Anyway that's just my setting and preference, everyone's different so don't expect other people settings to be something you like :) .
