As I have stated to my League mates, I suspect the rats nest of code found within rF2 may be rearing it's ugly head here.

Hi community. I am with the same problem with my SteamCMD server.

This morning I updated as usual and everything seemed to have gone well, but it breaks at the beginning.

I have updated and validated again and everything still seems correct, but without solving the problem.

Is there any simple way to go back in the version?

Tonight we have competition and I need the online server with whatever version.

    Thank you.

This is what my console shows:

    C:\Racing\Actualizar e Instalar>steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir ../

Last night I updated the servers with the new build through steamcmd. I no longer need to be logged in to steam so that the servers remain standing. What is necessary now is to be visible by activating these two options at true in multiplyer.json.

    "Pause At Start Of Session":false,
    "Pause While Zero Players":false,

These options are very useful. Tnx

If you need to roll back, in Steam games list, right click on rFactor 2, select properties, Betas and then select previous build no. in the drop down box.

If you are not hosting a server then you don't have to do anything.

I think you had to add -beta=1112 at the end of update command to go back to previous version. I don't remember exactly, but there is a post somewhere in this forum with the full command to go back.

To who is having issues with the dedicated server, make sure to have a Steam client running in the same machine where you are hosting the servers. I don't know if it's how is supposed to be or if this is just a workaround, i never used a Steam client in my remote pc, apparently now it is required.
Of course you don't need to log in with you own personal account, just create a fictional new user in order to have a Steam client running.

Krusty post, i have 2 dedicated no error

    Thanks for your answer.
If I activate those two options in "true" the server starts (Session Paused!) But I don't see it in the server list on the client.

In addition, those two options that need to be "false" for the operation of our Hotlaps system.

If Studio 397 do not give a solution to the problem, I will try to go back in the version as Ralffan indicates (Thanks also) although it is not an idea that I like since I already have many clients with the new version updated automatically.

I will review the "to go back to previous version" topic, but I will be attentive in case a solution is given before tonight's race.

    Thank you.
