Last night for the first time I had the chance to try log analyzer racing in a non official track (Daytona road). I saw that tire wear was very slow. It took +50 laps to decrease to 82% while the ai need only 18 laps to reach the same wear.
It is obvious to me that the problem is not in the AI tire wear itself but in the player car where the tire wear is so slow. I mean the tire is so in good condition that after 20+ laps i'm still able to delivery extremely good lap times and that's because the degradation is way smaller than the increasing track grip.
This is quite a common theme for a lot of maps. Some are balanced, others are not. Not really much you can do about it and I imagine the 'balancing' is not possible either.
