Hello racers, I was just wondering what is the reason behind the fact that there is sadly (currently) no GTE Version of the Aston Martin, which is already available as a GT3. As far as I know, there are not many changes need to be made for real teams to get their GT3 AM "upgraded" to a GTE car, or the other way round. Can we expect maybe an update or new DLC with the Aston Martin as a GTE car?
Aston Martin though has another arrow in their quiver, one that is currently only matched in the marketplace by Ferrari with their 488. Their new car can, relatively simply, be converted between GT3, and GTE spec, and that opens up a range of potential programmes for prospective customers. http://www.dailysportscar.com/2018/...aston-martin-vantage-to-gte-spa-and-back.html
Best guess, Studio 397 didn't have a licence for the GTE Vantage when the Endurance Pack was produced, and they may or may not have one now.
I'll agree with Jay The Vantage was the last GT3 to meet it's licensing requirements. So it's safe to assume there was no agreement in place when the GTE Endurance pak was released. There are several cars, such as the Ligier LMP2, the Vantage, Ferrari 488, the Oreca LMP2/DPi/LMP1 all of which could cross pollinate a carpak. But getting licensing agreements for any of those cars may be outside of S397's current roadmap of the future.
