I don't know if you've looked around here much, but if 'they' were doing that we'd have a lot less posts. I wouldn't be so sure.
I've seen your latest posts and i see a lot of ranting and nothing deleted! They way you talk sh*t about rF2, bashing on title and on developers suddently you come and play the victim about the censorship... nice! Not sure why you want to keep those kind of posts in the forums, for me they're useless...
Looking at your highly critical post history, it's clear to me you're not being censored due to the criticism. Otherwise every single one of your posts would be removed. It's probably something else. I'll let you ponder over what it could be.
You need to relax, there are things that seems that you don't know, that S397 took over the destiny of rF2 after ISI, and that software updates/fixes don't come from night to day. Being constantly argumenting that devs aren't capable or you want things for "yesterday" won't help... If you're not happy with the sim right now go play something else and come back later, at least save us from that negativity, we're very lucky that S397 took this huge task of bringing back the best sim to us again...
Yes, Chris posted in Discord about the forum being down shortly about the time these guys said their posts disappeared. I was going to say this yesterday but nah... let these dudes whine and shame themselves some more lol
Hi Marcel if you have time would you be able to update us on the current state of the UI just to let us all know if the latest setbacks with the 24hr and the updates have delayed the release of the UI and by weeks or months ? PS: I think any info would please us.
I don't believe s397 will bring new ui to simexpo. If only in alpha stage. I hope someone will ask em about GT3/GTE bop and realism myths. Personally i am waiting for Nordschleife demonstration at simexpo.
@Christopher Elliott At least this information, that is related to the forum, should worth it to be posted in the forums by S397, don't you think?
No matter how you do it, you do it wrong . If he had said next year people would be disappointed, if he said weeks rather months, and cannot do it in that time its also false. Each hour he spents here to reply, is missing in the development of rF2. The alpha of the gui was already there last simracing expo. I ve no idea if they show it on the expo in this year, but i think they will. Why not? Let them keep sure that the tech does not break anything for us, no one wants to race with something that might crash, because it has not been tested enough. There is a reason why most developers do not publish release-dates until they reached a high level, because you never know how long some parts might work, especially if you are working with a code base which is huge and not been written by yourself. They have to read code they did not write theirself, read, understand and change. Thats a very difficult task, this old ui tech has been build and evolved in the 90s as main part of the simulation itself. You cannot simple cut it out and place something new that easily. If you would code a simulation from scratch today you might develop a gui thats unindependent to the engine itself and write a communication protocol rest or network based to have that seperated.
