Having spent some time today with the HSO Cart 88 mod I can't wait to get my hands on those beauties. That mod is really addidictive, but sadly the models show their age a bit and the AI has no spacial awereness. But physics are damn good. Maybe there is a way to find collaboration to get some help with physics. That would be ace.
Those cars look great. Reminds me of going to Portland Oregon in the 80's to see the G I Joes 200. I remember when Mario beat Michael Andretti by an inch or so on Fathers Day. I was watching from the pits, close to the finish line. I also remember being there in 1984 to see Al Unser Jr. get his first IndyCar win.
I have updated the Sidepods and I noticed there are also a Version with straight Sidepods, maybe this Version was used on Road Tracks....
Hmmm..... again not exactly my era of expertise. I see that the Lolas have a straight side pod. I'm not seeing the March with it for 1985. I'm not sure if some teams did their own modifications? May be that side pod version was only one team?
Sorry, I was looking completely at the wrong spot. I am assuming you are talking about this area It's really hard to say. It might be the short oval configuration. I found that photographer's site. And he has everything listed for 1985. The youtube video is hard to tell, but at the end on the cool down lap, it looks like it is straight. https://bobh.photoshelter.com/gallery/Indycar/G0000O7hporJ1Pc4/1
