I really appreciate your work Sergio, but If I’m not mistaken S397 said they did a laserscan of the remaining parts of the Südschleife, as they announced Nords.
So maybe your great work is just going to rival possible offical content?
I would probably wait a bit until we know for shure.

I am not sure about that, my track is already done and there is not sense for me to wait to convert track for RF2. If s397 build Sûdschleife some day for sure they will not found my track as a "rival". Looks like S397 had more interest on modern tracks/content. Also user laserscan data for this track is more like no sense too, most of track is not there anymore, including all the frontstraigh area.

I think they mentioned the GP circuit, not Suds. But I'm not convinced we'll get a stand-alone GP either. Just the 85%(or so) used for the VLN or ADAC races.

    From September 2018 Roadmap:
"As we told you in the announcement, the scan is done, and both the Nordschleife and GP track are up to 2018 standards....
....In the meantime, we are also looking at our options for the Südschleife. Quite a few people have responded and pointed out available information about this classic track. We have not yet made the decision to build it, and if it happens this layout will certainly be done as a separate project. We’ll keep you posted."

And this from an even older thread (sep'18) :
The historical Nürburgring Südschleife has also been licensed but Marrs has asked the community whether to go down this route & if so to provide information about the track/layout members may have collected over the years.

Thanks, for refreshing my fading ...my fadin....oh yeah, my fading memory. :) They may get the southern layout done, but not as a Laser scanned project, because as noted above, not all of the circuit exists any more.

i usually set 21/24 pits, but for this one could be a good idea increase that number, how much for a endurance event?

If I recall right, in the 60s there were 50 garages in the pitlane

    60 (1954) & 55 (1967)
I think those are correct numbers :)
edit: And of course thanks Sergio for continuing with the historic stuff and bringing them to rF2 :)
I think there should be some 2L and 3L cars in the '54 mod that would suit Sud and Nord :)

The more the better. You should maximize the number of garage spots and pit spots for all your tracks :)
