The question is simple do you plan to add snow to rFactor 2? It seems to be a realistic situation these days
Every year there are cars driving on the Nords when there is light snow falling, but obviously no snow that actually holds on the track. For the offline, I would not be against the snow on the track for the Nords, it's just a little phantasm . We spoke recently on the forum and I had it in a wish list : The improvement of the real road. This seems more useful, especially concerning the wet road. The snow would really be a bonus, but I would rather see the snow on a track like Monte Carlo if S397 makes us happy to create just one rally track (a rally track also being one of my wish lists, which yes, is numerous LOL).
I drive on this every winter and sims are not detailed enough yet. Even the most realistic sim. rF2. A lot of the detail needs to come from some form of physical cockpit that doesn't exist yet. And then, as you can see in the video above, it is very difficult and really not much fun. Even for a pro race driver.
goodwood not pro race just festival and in england the snow/rain it's the sun it's good weather at home!
Or for the spectators. I was there and I have never been so cold in all my life - and I've spent a whole day skiing at -25C!
Sitting in wet snow at 0 Celsius is way colder then skiing at -25 for sure. Especially if it's sunny in the middle of the day. But hydro planning/sliding on ice is felt in your inner ear first, which is pretty hard to reproduce through FFB. And even then sometimes there's not much you can do. At best your looking at some slow boring race.
