Norma M30 LMP3 (1) The wiper is too big or simply not correctly attached to the windscreen. (W/O screenshot) The aero updates appear to have no visual impact - bug or feature?
EDIT: Oops my mistake that is already fixed but not released. Also Bentley has a stand in reflective material for outside cams, this is as intended. I've been in the garage with the actual car, this is how the wipers are
Updated first post with a description for the Callaway Corvette and two new minor findings on the Bentley.
I've updated my first two posts. The recent updates fixed a lot of stuff - what's great! But as I'm no beta tester (at least not yet ) my "aftermarket QC" may result in new findings. And there were a couple, so I've included those into the first posts as well. One thing that needs verification: According to the changelog of the Bentley, some visual changes were made (e.g. the mirrors). But unfortunately I didn't see these changes although I do have the latest (to date) version of the Bentley (2.47)
A rather old persisting issue at least I have still is rf 2 running vanilla after new PC and still outside mirrors way off on original cars. Issue present at both, screenplay and VR. This: "Mirrors are adjusted using Ctrl, Alt and Shift with the seat adjustment controls, Fore, Aft, Up and Down. When using Ctrl and/or Shift it doesn't matter if you use the left or right one. When using Alt, use Left Alt if you find Right Alt does not work. This is to do with your Windows region and keyboard settings. If you want Right Alt to work I'll leave that up to you and google search. * = the text that appears in the rF2 message box. • ALL MIRRORS, REAL AND VIRTUAL * Mirror Position: 0 / 0 Shift + Fore = move mirrors left Shift + Aft = move mirrors right Shift + Up = move mirrors down Shift + Down = move mirrors up * Mirror Size: 0 Ctrl+Shift + Up = zoom out Ctrl+Shift + Down = zoom in? • LEFT DOOR MIRROR * Left Mirror Params: 0 / 0 Ctrl + Fore = move mirror outwards Ctrl + Aft = move mirror inwards Ctrl + Up = zoom out Ctrl + Down = zoom in? • RIGHT DOOR MIRROR * Right Mirror Params: 0 / 0 Left Alt + Fore = move mirror inwards Left Alt + Aft = move mirror outwards Left Alt + Up = zoom out Left Alt + Down = zoom in? • REAR VIEW MIRROR / MONITOR * Center Mirror Params: 0 / 0 Ctrl + Left Alt + Fore = move mirror left Ctrl + Left Alt + Aft = move mirror right Ctrl + Left Alt + Up = zoom out Ctrl + Left Alt + Down = zoom in? • REAR VIEW MIRROR / MONITOR PHYSICAL POSITION * Mirror Physical Pos: 0 / 0 Shift + Left Alt + Fore = move mirror right Shift + Left Alt + Aft = move mirror left Shift + Left Alt + Up = move mirror up Shift + Left Alt + Down = move mirror down? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The controls are your seat movement plus Ctrl/Alt/Shift; it doesn't matter whether you use the left-Shift or right-Shift, it's just Shift. Shift + seat forwards/backwards tilts all your mirrors left and right. Shift + seat up/down tilts all your mirrors up and down. Ctrl + seat forwards/backwards tilts your left mirror left and right. Ctrl + seat up/down zooms your left mirror in and out. Alt does the same as above, for the right mirror. Ctrl+Alt does the same as above, for the centre mirror. Ctrl+Shift + seat up/down changes 'mirror size' for all mirrors. Looks like an overall zoom of sorts. (There is a PLR option "Rearview Independent"; I think if you set this to 1 you can use Ctrl+Shift+seat forward/back to adjust the horizontal FOV of the mirrors independently of the vertical) Alt+Shift + seat up/down physically moves the centre mirror up and down. Alt+Shift + seat forward/back physically moves the centre mirror left and right." doesn't work, at least not for the right side. All mirror parameters are at "0" which should be correct and original? Btw. mirrors at modded cars do work properly
While I fully understand this is a necessary bug report, why did you post it here instead of a separate thread? For me this is no visual bug but a technical problem. I'm afraid this will easily be overlooked here. You should consider filing an individual bug report for that.
Brief update here: As far as I can see, the recent updates did not solve/include any visual updates. Bug report remains unchanged.
I'm not getting any cosmetic changes when I select different aero packages. It is the same with every car in the recent packs but here is an example:
Don’t forget the missing yellow stripe at top of Porsche steering wheel. That’s been reported months ago and no change.
Wanted to add another visual/audio issue on the Audi R8 LMS. Seems the modeling (shift LEDs) and sound sides of the car are set to a 7700 RPM redline while the physics has it at the (correct, I believe) 8500 RPM. To get the most out of the car you need to rev way past indicated red line at which point the car is absolutely screaming. Saw this mentioned before but wanted to add it to here, hope that's cool. TK
Here is a small problem with the aston gt3 and gte. Must be a missing poly. Also proves gt3 was used to make the GTE as the back part of the missing poly is the same profile on both cars.
In s397 defence why would they make the body again for aston vantage when they just need to alter the gt3, granted could of done a better job but so
That black mark is caused by the shadowing texture in the showroom only. It's not on the car when it's on track. As annoying as it is, it's nothing to do with the model itself.
I have no problem with the various parts being re-used because that is exactly how the real car was probably assembled. But there are just a few detail touches that scream GT3. Position LED mounted on the windscreen when all the rest of the GTE cars have the panel on the side. a tiny GT3 on the Cosworth LCD panel. Car behaves differently, drives differently, as a GTE should. They just missed a few items.
Yes agree makes total sense I should have worded it better. I had no intension to be critical of doing this.
