    Hey Guys!

While i'm driving in assetto my ram usage is 6,5/7.9gb
In Rf2 i have serious laggs, other problems. I notice that it's running 4/7.9gb
    I have win10 64bit, basicly not modded rf2.

Do you have a solution? :/

    Regards,
    Andreas

It'll only use as much RAM as it needs to, same as any other application/game. You don't need them to use all your RAM.

rfactor to me uses 5gb of ram more or less, the delays depend on the graphic card, the equipment, the configuration, even the processes in the background in the pc, for example antivirus

    PD.-I USE W10 64 BIT:);)

The RAM of your graphics card is more important than the system RAM for rF2.

You are running rF2 in 64 bit, right?

If a game uses 4GB of ram for everything it needs, it can't 'use' the extra ram and gain performance. RAM is for storage of images, sounds, and data that it uses - the only way to use more is to have more details, bigger sounds, etc. Without that, the only way to use more is to duplicate some of those resources, which makes zero sense.

This isn't CPU or GPU use.

*By the way, if you're getting serious issues it's more likely to be CPU related. What are your specs?

Guys it is obvious that with low settings rF2 uses less vram and system ram.
Settings I am using system RAM usage is +- 8 GB and vram is + 6GB, S397 GT3 at Sebring.

Max graphics, triple screen 1080p and full grid = ~5-7GB RAM.

You're good dude. Lag comes from need of upgrading to more powerful hardware. rF2 need more juice than AC but, im guessing, in other areas. Using more RAM would not help you.

Yup. I was decently fine in sunny weather daytime with i7 8700k and GTX980. Im sure you dont need that cpu but with 980 and AMD FX8350 i had to lower a lot of stuff and still have a bit of lag on triples. rF2 need both strongish CPU and GPU. SSD doesnt hurt when it comes to loading times. On my dedicated M.2-SSD it now takes a few seconds to load a combo into track.
