    Hello,

    We are making some modifications in the wear/grip ratio for a mod, so we want the tires to be very "hard" , the wear/grip ratio is just losing a 0.05% of grip on each step (32 steps), except for the last step, where the tyre should die.

    However, once on track, tyre dies at 50% aprox. and we can not understand why. We have tried to change the value of the last wear/grip step to a 99% and the tyre does not die anymore (but it won't die at 0% of life.....). Do you know what can be the reason?? Is it possible that the amonut % in the hud and motec is not correct? Is it possible that we are missing any important value? Maybe there is a value that act as a multiplier? Maybe there can be a part of the tire that reaches 0% before other? (I don't know if this makes sense).

    Yes the tire has a thermal degration which you can‘t see in the hud/motec. Just check the tire manual for explanation

    Thank you for the answer. I thought I had mention in my post but I see that I didn't: For the test, we almost eliminated thermal degradation (as our first thought was that it was the reason for this behaviour...), I copy and paste the lines from .tgm, so you can see that it is not the problem:

    DegradationPerWearFraction=(1.0000,0.9995,0.9990,0.9985,0.9980,0.9975,0.9970,0.9965,0.9960,0.9955,0.9950,0.9945,0.9940,0.9935,0.9930,0.9925,0.9920,0.9915,0.9910,0.9905,0.9900,0.9895,0.9890,0.9885,0.9880,0.9875,0.9870,0.9865,0.9860,0.9855,0.9850,0.5855)
    DegradationCurveParameters=(366.15,3600)
    DegradationPerUnitHistory=(1.0000,0.9995,0.9990,0.9985,0.9980,0.9975,0.9970,0.9965,0.9960,0.9955,0.9950,0.9945,0.9940,0.9935,0.9930,0.9925,0.9920,0.9915,0.9910,0.9905,0.9900,0.9895,0.9890,0.9885,0.9880,0.9875,0.9870,0.9865,0.9860,0.9855,0.9850,0.9845)
