Porsche GTR3 window file (saving)

Hi

working on one of my first RF2 skins and i have prepared my window file Porsche_991GT3R_2018_windows
and saved it as per the file name with parts added to the Alpha channel, yet it does not get applied to the car?

saving as DXT5 ARGB 8bpp

what am i doing wrong... yes im reloading the car

 

File name correct? Should be your file name then "window" with no space
Example:
altPorsche123.dds
altPorsche123window.dds

 

aha, thanks again... no i just had the file name of the template, and thinking Assetto Corsa line of thought.

I disagree. In this example it should be altwindow (no underscore and no trailing S) and for OP, please name it something not just "alt" or you will get confused with other people and base skins.

 

@Brack Jabham i am at the stage i want to post for sharing is it jst a matter of renaming them in the folder ?

 

Nevermind, its taken a few goes but i think i have fumbled way thru it
