    Hi All,
I was trying to find a proper place to know how many direct drive wheel OSW and not OSW brands are on the market nowadays. I was "googling" and for sure some brands came up but I am sure there are other I'm missing.

The purpose of this topic is to save here a list of all Direct Drive Wheel brands and upcoming brands (if any) are on the market at the minute, added value is to get a proper review on the items. If you may help I may update the current post with the brands for an easy reading.

    Thanks to anyone want help

    List OSW:
    Simracingbay
    Simracingcoach
    Simtechracing
    Simuhack
    HRS
    AUGURY

    List Non OSW:
    Leo Bodnar
    AccuForce
    Sim-pli.city
    Fanatec

Latest OSW is Simucube, old ones are Argon and IoniCube.
All OSW are made by Granite Devices except the motor, motor encoder and power supply.
Granite Devices makes and sells to shops or individuals the Simucube motherboard and Ioni servo drive board and psu. Shops assemble and test all parts and sell it as a ready to drive unit.

    Shops that sell OSW
    Simracingbay
    Simracingcoach
    Simtechracing
    Simuhack

    Non OSW but Directdrive
    Leo Bodnar
    AccuForce
    Sim-pli.city

There is another DD wheel in the works (VRS) but, no details available as of yet. I believe it's in the proto-type testing phase now.

Yes, SimuCUBE based, basically the same as all the others in your OSW list.
I'm not sure if you know but OSW (Open Sim Wheel) is not a brand name, it's a term.

    Yes. Very good.
    I've one.
    A Plug&play system.
It took me the same, config this than the previous T500.
I wanted to point out that Simracingcoach doesn't make OSW. They are resellers of Augury.

I know some oval racers (iRacing) like these really big motors because they have such natural dampening and inertial characteristics. IIRC, they are said to provide excellent understeer cues for oval racing that allow better consistency and reduced tire wear.

Also, Granite Devices will be releasing a report on test-results using a wide variety of Servo-motors with the SimuCube (OSW) systems.
