Hi all, I have a problem with some cars, the BMW M6 GT3 is one where it does not matter how much I rev it up it bogs down at launch, with TC and and TC off it doesn't matter, any ideas what is happening?
    Cheers

I have very much noticed the same thing - I've not done any standing start races with it but pulling out of the pits it bogs down - i end up riding the clutch to keep the revs up - its not been a massive issue so haven't tested but if you have a clutch pedal it might be worth taking auto-clutch off to see how that changes things and/or dip the clutch a little

You probably find that, there geared to high...........like the corvette.... thats why our league we run rolling starts.

I dont like rolling starts so always do standing starts, I don't use the clutch never have but the bmw gets swamped by half the field before it gets up to reasonable speed, it is odd.

I don't think it is a gearing issue, it almost seems like it has the handbrake on, lol.

I have the same issue, I run a fanatec csl elite with no clutch, I’ve been thinking about pulling out my old G25 pedals to see if the clutch makes a difference.

That would be interesting to hear your result from that test. Also glad I am not the only one having the issue.

Guys it's the driving aids. Turn off traction control when starting race and back on after. Nap buttons to do so

Try to adjust TC in garage settings AND driving assists to see if you can get it going

BMW is like that. You have to be real smooth with the clutch. If you practice enough, you can get going pretty fast. But it takes some getting used to.

I'll give it a go mate. I ran round 4 of my GT3 championship last night and even with TC only set to 2 in setup it still bogged down massively.

Try setting up a TC Overide button in your controls. That works on cars with TC.
    Enjoy!

I already have the TC set at zero at the start and it still bogs down, doesn't happen with the other GT cars that I have tested. I have a toggle switch mapped to it and put it to the 0 position for the start, makes no difference

Try to disable autoclutch. It worked for me with Formula Predators mod. Fastest way was to disable autoclutch at the start, then before first corner you reactivate it. This game acts strangely at times.
