The last crash was due to an out of date 3rd party file left behind. This one hasn't been defined yet, . I've been able to load single car solo sessions. But it does crash when I attempt to load all the rest of the cars.

What a terrible roadmap. Oh, and “we will reveal more at the first quarter” suggesting it is NO WHERE near complete, despite being in development for well over two years.

How about you stop producing content and address the core issues before it’s too late? We need fixes for AI Logic (overtaking, slip streaming, rain, etc). Mandatory pit stops, safety car, the list goes on. The roadmaps are substantially lacking, and have been for over a year.

It's good that they did the side job for Amazon so maybe that can fund the work on rF2 and maybe they can hold off on pushing out cars not complete over and over and just concentrate on fixing outstanding core issues!

    I'm sorry
I brought rf2 from first beta day
But I have less and less trust in your work

Really I don’t understand why the h.,,, does it take 3 years to implement the new UI?! Is it that complicated?!
Personally the actual UI is fine for me. I would concentrate more in fixing the AI, fixing the game core and bringing more tracks to rfactor2

Agree - why not just throw in the towel in regards to the new UI and move on to other fundamental issues? Seriously you guys claimed it was very close to public beta release back in August 2017!

i put my money on my steam wallt for rf2 goodies but i will buy sth else instead.
it takes ages to have a proper content in rf2; reiza dlc, nordschleife, upgrading old content to new ones etc

A lot of topics in your post.

First, thats ripped content, shouldn't even be treated as normal content, I hate to see how stolen content is getting more and more tolerated in simracing, it is not a positive thing. Second, all those AC ports are very basic and doesn't exploit rF2 possibilities well, they looks good at basic setting because Simone just does awesome work. If we would treat it as legit conversion you just could compare it to Watkins Glen, Miseluk, Bridgehampton to see how legit conversion from AC is like.

Another point - "why would you waste [insert random amount of money] on what will essentially be just a bumpier track than we already have". You don't waste it, you buy good product and support development. You could keep your money if you don't need it, or if you are fine with mediocore conversion. The line about "bumpier than we already have" deserves it's own separate discussion about how tracks should be made and how Kunos treats them. I have some thoughts that Kunos tracks are smoother than they really are, as well as some other simulations, it is just one of those things which is a "safe design" of a simulation, eliminating certain amount of complexity and at the same time having something "improved" over real life. If a compromise has to be made it has to have a clear logical reason, as for you it seems that you simply like smoother track more, rather than more authentic.

Hm am i still at the rf2 fans forum? :)
Personally i like to hear S397 collaborate with other projects. New experience is important not to underestimate. Also, as they have plans to go the way of cybersport they need more connections. And Amazon is good in this case.
Bugfixes are always welcome. I don't care much about it coz i bought this game almost in its current state. So nothing changed for me except new content.
I hope to see in next roadmap they hire more compter graphics specialists. Make game beautiful and ppl will come and stay. Dlc can give you hype but not constant players imho.

A bit disappointing taste in the roadmap as it basically says no new toys for now. However, so many in future. Frankly, there is a ton of stuff in production.

Probably it is best that studio397 takes it's time and will not rush to meet imaginary deadline dates.

Everything in production except Reiza pack and UI is relatively new, especially Nordschleife. I could already see it that there is no way that Nordschleife would be done in time, unless it would be rushed and updated later. But clearly such workflow is not optimal for a studio and just increases mess.

I honestly have no idea how to understand the words chosen for UI: "Expect us to reveal more towards the end of the first quarter of this year". The main thing why I look for new UI is accessible and better utilized online system, so I really like this line: " we’re currently integrating it into our new UI to ensure it is both easy to find and join competitions".

OMG and still we have people lapping it all up. Road map after road map.

I cannot believe it, how easy would it be to fix all of those bugs listed over and over instead of promising us over and over of stuff we do not need or asked for. Nice to have but can you please for the love of &0d quote Pales ”We need fixes for AI Logic (overtaking, slip streaming, rain, etc). Mandatory pit stops, safety car, the list goes on.”

everytime the Roadmaps get more and more underwhelming.
Al least the Memes (UI, comp system and maybe now the Nordschleife :D ) continue

Bc the ported Nordschleife isn't up to date and looks horrible.
You don't have to buy it if you don't want it. You don't have to race rf2 if you don't want. Go further ;)

It’s quite clear that the overwhelming majority of followers here share the same sentiments and concerns.

Whilst we appreciate new cars, tracks and various improvements, the core gameplay and mechanics remain untouched. You have to start addressing our concerns before it’s too late.

As stated, the roadmaps are substantially lacking, and if I’m being completely, are non-existent some months. You need to be a lot more transparent with your audience and acknowledge the core issues. Sugar coating it is only making things worse.

We need reassurances. I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t see a single acknowledgement from a developer on this forum.

It is not your decision what we need and asked for. The competition system ist the most important part for me. Leave me alone with AI fixing or that stuff. I want to drive online. Thats what i want. And now? Who´s right. They have limited resources and can only work through one after the other and fixing the AI will not generate new customers as the focus of all racing simulations is on online operation and compared to the competition the AI is still the best as it is completely unusable in other titles.

Because 3d artists rewrite the game code when they're not building cars and tracks? And in the meantime, the guys at Studio397 eat garbage and live in tents.
