Just had to put this here. Thought it was nicely put by the people putting together the Swedish Championship in virtual motorsports. They said "Virtual motorsports is not E-sports because the sim racers are closer to the real deal than in other virtual competition genres. If you put a sim racer in a real race car they know what to do while FIFA E-sports players doesnt have to be good at football (soccer) at all to be pro's in the game". Nicely put.
