Do you have any released skins for the GT3 cars? I havent messed with adding skins in rF2 except some Workshop stuff that was easy to install by just subbing to the content. Tried to add a skin a while ago but i never saw it in the sim. AC is easy that way, just drop and go.

All my skins for the URD J5 Nissan have been updated and ready for DL. The naming is the same so they will ask to over write. Yes.

    Allow me some little corrections/comments:
To 1) In rF2 you can also have loose files for your skin in the respective settings folder. You always have to keep the in a folder that is the same as in your RCD file, and you need the textures to follow the naming conventions to allow rF2 to recognize the right textures for the respective wildcard material (e.g. alt.dds, altwindow.dds, altextra1.dds, etc.). However, because of how the system works you can also load the window texture as a alternated skin from the Showroom. Now a MAS file solves this as it will not allow you to switch between different textures (OK, it does if you want but that's a different story) and should be used if you wanna publish your skin properly.
When I do a skin for a car, I always work with loose files. After changing a DDS file of my skin I click the "RELOAD" button in the showroom and the files will all be reloaded. Running rF2 in windowed mode allows fast switching between graphic software and game.

To 2) Skinning in 3D is not possible if you have no 3D model. That's completely right. But as it's a common problem, and also not everyone is that gifted to be able to spend a lot of money for PS to do 3D skinning at all, I've therefore put together a little help here (Use a Color Grid for painting skins).

You're right. That's the other way I've forgot to mention. Because I prefer the way where I can share all files at the end.

Red or yellow, What's your favorite??

After finishing these two cars I know, that the AMG is terrible to paint. So much splitted surfaces, that I spent more time than to finish the Grello.
