Linux multiplayer freeze

    Hey when playing on linux, the singleplayer works perfectly, but in multiplayer when joined it freezes instantly as i see garages and race etc... thanks for any help

    Multiplayer is probably controlled by Steam these days. Is Linux compatible with Steam? And then next question, what version of rF2 do you have? You would only be able, assuming Linux and Steam aren't the problem, be able to connect with races hosted by servers with the same version. If you have an outdated beta then chances are slim you will find other servers with your version.(although some leagues have continued to use older versions for plugin compatibility)

    Linux is compatible with steam since i can run other steam games perfectly, I have newest build of rf2 one thing is that if i force 32-bit the game doesnt freeze but crashes right after it joins and with 64-bit it freezes when joined

    Maybe you just need some (a lot) more patience.

    When I enter a server, rF2 gets really slow until all cars are loaded.

    Which "linux" ? Which GPU ? GPU driver ?
