Hey guys, Last week i had to change my router. From a fritzbox i went to a speedport w724v. I had and have the following ports open: 54297 TCP + UDP 64297 TCP 64298 UDP 64299 UDP With these settings, hosting a multiplayer server, was fine. Now i can't see or direct connect to my server. If i check the ports on "canyouseeme.org", the ports are open while the server is running. I assume, that the problem is the missing UPNP-function in the speedport? Have i forgot a special port? Or is there a way, to compensate this function?
Are you using the same PC for server and client? It's a common problem, in my case i had to use another PC to be the server, Amazon EC2 is a good alternative, free for a year. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/hosting-and-joining-at-the-same-pc.55413/page-3 Maybe the solution found by kro388th in this topic works for you
I have both on the same pc, yes. I dont have anoter PC to run it, so there is no other option for me. I solved the problem really simple: just buyed a fritzbox... Well, if you want, you can try it out for the futur via a tool like teamviewer and my speedport. Maybe we can help some other people.
