[QUOTE = "ChiefWiggum, post: 970370, membro: 45985"] extra per te Roberto perché è Natale Datei von filehorst.de caricato [/ QUOTE] boss you're the best
Just done a race around Adelaide in the Ligier and it felt awesome to drive, good amount of grip and the sort of understeer you'd expect from a car producing far less downforce than todays cars. Boost came in as expected and didn't really surprise me after a few laps of getting used to it. Will try another car now. Edit: The Lotus drives like a dream! Another edit: This Williams feels a lot better too.
I tried the FW11 in Norisring, a blast to drive with such track. Will try it with another track this afternoon. Congrats for your hard work!!
First of all, I would like to congrats the great job you done for this awesome mod. I can´t wait this mod finished. I tried McLaren and Williams both cars are very rich in details. About driving, I tried Paul Ricard track. I felt too much understeering when in fast corners (curve Signes as ex.) even with full front/rear wings it is not possible to handle this curve in 5th/6th gear, maybe i didn´t setup the car properly. My best lap times was around 1min14s with qualy engine/tires. (pole in 86' was around 1m06s). The engine aspect of the cars are very realistic, top speeds and turbo lag seems to be real. In my opinion, the tires (heating too much in the middle and lost grip to fast) and the handling physics could be improved a little, but I am sure all the team can fix this. This mod are in a good shape, you have been doing a very good job! This cars are really for men. Thank you and merry christmas!
Nice to see that all cars behave differently. One thing I noticed is that not all cars reach 5.5 bar in qualy trim. Is this realistic? I'm having a blast right now on the 98T, trying to find a better setup. Now only the almighty B186 and BT55 beasts are remaining! Merry christmas!
the Williams, Lotus and Ligier use the same Physic, so I think I will this use this Physic for the LE Version, maybe with a little tweak on the tires, I will finish the Zakspeed, Osella and maybe the Arrows, but I think for me it's finished then. merry christmas!
Are you releasing a historic edition later? League Ed is where the cars are the same physics right? Merry Christmas and thanks for the hard effort!
So, you're not releasing the B186 and BT55 with their physics for testing too? It would be awesome! About the tires, it may be better to wait for S397 tovrelease the latest iteration of tire physics and then release them finished... Cheers
Something i noticed: the drivers actually went down to 1st gear in the hairpin after the long straight, i would have thought they went in 2nd.. but not at all.. merry christmas by the way!
here we have the Brabham BT55 and the Benetton B186, please uninstall and delete old versions https://filehorst.de/d/cAexftyh
What a great christmas gift !! Thanks Chief for this awesome mod When a historic version of the whole cars of 1986 season? This is really addictive p
Just an idea. Why not working together with carrera4? Don't know anything how he will or you will be interested but you guys are passionate by the same era and have so much talent in your hands. Could be awesome to have a complete set of cars and tracks made by you guys. Probably s397 should pay you lolll
S397 in future will release only licenced contents. So i think they can't buy all 1986 f1 teams and tracks licence
Great stuff! Did a few laps @ classic Kyalami in the Lotus and Mclaren; the lag is well implemented - you can see why Senna was always stabbing the throttle in corners in an attempt to get the boost up and running. I really love the Mac's digital boost readout: it adds alot to the driving experience of these cars to know where the sweet spot is. The LE physics are quite good and a big improvement on the older versions of the physics. If anything, they are a bit too drivable, but again, LE physics and not the HE ones where I'd expect a bit more brutality on-boost. Please Santa, put up a server over the holidays so we can get in to some old school racing! donated!
