    Hi all,
    Ok, not sure if this is the right forum to gush...err.. comment on the recent T5 2018 release but, wow.

    Bought the package a couple of hours ago, loaded the Maures onto Nordschleife2 v2.30 and proceeded to an AI race. Yowza! Brand new car to me but I still managed to post my fastest lap time on this track, ever.

    The car is not the fastest in a straight line but it must have some magic pixie dust to make it stick to the track. Maybe it has traction control or ABS hardcoded on? I'm not fast at all but I just beat my 911 RSR time by ~15 seconds! And I think I can do better.

    Oh, and I know my best time is not that great since AI still managed to beat me in the 6 lap race :) Never been so happy to lose a race. Great fun.

    Out of interest, how are you handling offline racing? I find that the AI keep using DRS every corner and straight, meaning you’re always behind them

    I don't think it is possible at this time with the game. It is a lack of DRS settings in the track. Not the cars. It would be cool if the updated UI would have a box to void DRS so that doesn't happen.

    Hi. Not to divert from the main thread topic too much but, I keep the AI buggers in check by adjusting their percent strength. For Nordschleife2 v2.30, I have it set to 100% and have to give it all I have to catch up and occasionally win. AI strength seems to vary from track to track or with cars.

    If DSR wasn't enough, AI doesn't seem too much affected by tire temperature or wear. They'll take those turn #1 at full song straight out of the starting line, no problem. If I try that, I end up splattered on the wall like a bug. Same for tire wear or damage. I can hit a wall straight on where the car can barely move, hit the AI button and off it goes like nothing happened.

    It's still fun and it beats not racing at all.

    Yes, thats the only one we have. We did some road test but didnt continue on that work-track work is not for us. Digga made nice conversion. It might get some layout updates in future to get it more real.

    At least it's communication instead of being left in the dark. Hopefully some one will be able to step up. I have zero knowledge of physics work

    That's a deep shame. I wonder if we can just have the PX DX11 and dash updates for now?
