The new steering wheel rotation feature, consisting of several steps, is it to use for a T300 steering wheel ?

    Thank you.

Good to see a software implementation of soft lock, finally.

@DrivingFast If your T300 is anything like my T500, it already copes with the auto-rotation setting. The one use for it I can imagine is when you play other games and rF2 has changed your wheel's rotation setting, forcing you to manually change it before you play another game; if you use that 'new' system instead, I think rF2 shouldn't change your wheel setting and you won't need to adjust it.

When du you think to get a controller profile for upcoming Fanatec DD1 and DD2 base?

So will this stop rF2 changing my driver steering degrees all the time? Everytime I play anything other than rF2 I need to reset my driver back to 900° because rF2 always sets it to 450° or similar.

When you've had a chance to test your Christmas present, please let us know how it goes. There are probably a few members here who would be interested to hear the pro's and con's of these new Fanatecs :)

@jdaddle It sounds like it just isn't detected/calibrated properly.

This setting should be true, assuming it worked fine before:

"Steering Wheel Maximum Rotation from Driver":true,

Maybe start from the start, detect or load the G27 profile and assign controls as needed. You can copy/rename your controller.JSON so you can test and revert later if you want.

Lazza, I have already tried setting it to true, makes no difference, I have deleted my player.json and controller.json, reloaded the logitech g27 default profile, still does not work, when I enter game controller menu with wheel centered, the visual of steering wheel looks like wheel is all the way to the right, if turn wheel that visual doesn't move until I get about 15 degrees from full left then it jumps to full left, only have 15 degrees to move visual but steering wheel is turned left.

@jdaddle How does it look in the windows control panel properties? If it works fine there, go back into the game, re-assign steer left and steer right, and see if that helps.

it was fine in control panel, I got it working by verifying files in steam, thinking maybe the default Logitech file got messed up somehow, thanks for the help Lazza

    • Steering Wheel Bump Stop Harshness – A configurable value ranging from 1.0 to 100.0, which acts like a spring constant that determines how much counter-torque will be applied if you steer beyond the maximum range.
a good person please explain this :)
