Steam Vr keeps giving me a message that says :
You display mirror settings that could degrade graphics , it brings me to a page and see no mirror settings !!

I don't have a VR setup, so I can't help completely, but you should be able to configure a keystroke to tell the VR where is the initial position and orientation, then, after you took time to set the headset properly on your head/eyes, lower the graphic details of RF2 to a minimum, then raise them step by step until you find the right balance between beauty and performances.

To align your view correctly go to Options - Controls - Misc and set a button for 'VR centre head position'.
Don't expect it to be as crisp an image as a monitor but you soon get used to it. I couldn't go back to a screen now.
Steam VR gives me a SS recommendation and that is where I start and increase or decrease depending on performance.

    Hello Marc ,
Can someone help me out in a more detail way ?
Don’t know nothing about this stuff ,
From the start of setting this Vr to the end in order to get the best driving experience,
To many things needs to be tweaked,
Keep in mind im 56 years old and no wiz at this stuff , reading all kind of articles that I barely understand, (I’m French Canadian)
I really want to make it worked properly but not enough knowledge, very frustrating:(

After you click singleplayer in the launcher you will see options on the next screen.
As the headset is setting up and steamVR is loading and the game is loading it looks at where the headset is.
This is why it isn't in the right spot. If you have it sitting sideways to your driving position when starting up it can be looking sideways. Remember you have a 360 degree view.
You need a button so once your in your seat looking ahead you can centre everything.

As people already wrote: bind a key on your wheel to 'VR center head position' and recenter every time you get into the car.
And make sure in options that you are actually in "Cockpit View".

Once in game, go to "Options", "Control Settings", then "Misc.". Scroll down until you find "VR Center Head Position" and bind that to a button or key. Now the button will re-center your view provided you are looking straight-ahead. It works in the user-interface as well as sitting in the car. Once you have this set, the game should retain that position provided the headset is in the normal driving position when the game loads. If not, look to your normal driving position and use the button to reset the VR-view again.

I hope that clears things up a bit. ;)

    Thank you RockShark ,
I was able to finally be in my cockpit and do some laps , :)
Very immersive, unreal , after a dozen of laps I was at .5 from my qualy in Mexico and race set up .3 ,with a few days of practice I should be able to lower my time no doubt,
But I feel the clarity is not there yet ,
And the Odyssey Hdm Plus is supposed to have the best clarity ,did find how to use SS wich i set to 150 , but still ,far from a good monitor,

You’ll get use to the appearance of lower resolution , once you get use to VR there’s no going back if you set it up correctly for fluid & seamless visuals

    Good luck
