I realise this is a fantasy but... Take the https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/now-available-sebring-international-raceway.60767/ thread which has a lengthy section on how turning off raindrops improves frame rate. This is nothing to do with the Sebring track itself, it applies to all tracks and deserves a thread of its own (which would no doubt diverge into a discussion about shadows or something!) In a couple of months' time when Sebring is no longer hot news how am I going to find the thread about rain and improving FPS?

I know no-one will pay attention but I feel better having got that off my chest

I've noticed sometimes stars don't look as bright. And that probably should be something about local lighting, maybe even the moon, but I don't know. I should probably take some photos with a set exposure time to check. I hope this natural variation makes it into rF2.

    :p

Have to agree but to a point.
Tip bit like the OP is talking about maybe should be picked up by the Admin and added to a Q&A section. It's so true that so much great info gets lost in off topic posts in threads.
Lost count of how many new threads have been started asking how to un install the older Sebring and why want the S397 Sebring install??? Just for example..

@Louis In terms of a wider discussion, you could certainly refer to a single topic as a thread (so you could consider different things being talked about by a group, as different threads of discussion). But a discussion that starts on one topic, but over time moves and morphs into other topics, could be called a thread of conversation as well.

In forums, a thread has become its own object, each with a different title, so in that sense a thread is the series of posts each submitted in response to the previous post(s). So the meaning does change a bit with context, in forums really thread and topic have become separate things. In some cases very separate :p

Report posts that you see go off topic so admins can see them easier, this is the best way to do it.
