Hi guys! Today I went in trouble with rF2. I just wanted to know how Sebring looks like without an pp effects. I turned them off and deleted the shader and cbash folder. I went on the track and drove some laps. During watching the replay i noticed, that the replay was very very slow. Using ctrl+c displayed a maxed out purple bar. I didn´t have this problem before. I changed all back like it was before and drove some laps. Same result, replay in slow motion. I don´t know why i changed it, but I started to try different things and tested it. Finally I (only!) changed the physX settings from "auto" to CPU and tested it. The replay on Sebring and on all other tracks I had slow motion problem were completely gone. My system: GTX 680 4GB I7 3770K 16 GB RAM Hopefully this could be the solution to solve some of your slow motion problems! Pls let me know! Cheers Edit: Right click on your Nvidia settings. There should be the pysX dropdown menu.
Very strange - running the GTE's I get this slow motion in sebring. Not when running the eg LMP3. So I tried this fix and first time I watched the replay it was not slow motion any more. Continued the session a bit and ran another replay. Now it was slow motion again. So didnt fix it for me it seems.
Hi. Tbh I don't know. Is there a similar setting in your driver ctrl menu? It was a real coincidence that I found out that trick.
I have this since recent time when in the lobby and the video screen on the left is on 20 second lapse. If I press R for Live, it goes away. This started happening only recently, before it ran normal. i7-920/AMD R9 290/12GB
Could it be happening due to replays having to show more scenery than the cockpit view Have folks tried lowering the replay settings
Maybe this could help. But when letting the AI drive and watching it via the same camera perspective as in replay, there is no problem. And it's really strange because the purple bar is maxed out...that's not normal in replay.
I have also had this issue now. I only seen it twice and it seemed to happen the last 1 or 2 laps. I have replays off though. Could it be that its not saved on the drive and thus some issue happens because it filled RAM or something? Did you guys have replays ON so it saves them? @Lazza you have any smart idea mate?
Yes I have replay turned on. I just noticed when I take a ride in any bigger car than a kart on a kart track, replay is in slow motion and the purple bar is escalating. No problem with karts on the kart track, or cars on tracks where they are supposed to be driven.
Yeah, seems to be some overload of the hardware that slows it down. I saw it when i had a big grid and at the end of the "live replay" (while on track) the slow motion started. When i moved the timeline back to beginning it was normal speed, but as soon as it came towards the end of the replay it started slowmotion again. Is this happening instead of lag/stutter? Have we heard anything from S397 why this might happen? @Marcel Offermans
