Should have an online verification system ( as iracings does )
So chargeable mods are checked that they are only active with the rightful owners

Hopefully this would attract investment/quality mods

sure, my iracing content and sub, my 100+ steam games and all the urd content means i cant afford anything.

im not against the decision of him charging.
but to categorically say he WILL charge and just with steam backup for something he hasnt even finished is a greedy move.
what we should expect, remember the guys that redid road america for free and in amazing quality? they released wip videos with ai and the full layout. if he wants to go the money way then sell your thing properly and not before even having the textures done for all track objects.

modding is already scarse and paid mods are not the second coming of jesus, still is people doing this on their free time and not dedicated to it, they are not game developers.
i would like to see another 3PA content release endorsed by studio 397 (and their standards) with money going straight to the creators.
that would be amazing, and implement it as dlc content just how AMS releases single tracks in DLC format at a very accesible price.

then again, you're not reading shit past my harsh vocabulary, if you want money i want quality and information.

this game NEEDS unified content, tracks with similar quality levels and finished series with proper physics.

 

Like I bought URD cars I will propably buy this as well.

rF2 has a grey area to be explored. If stuff wont be licensed they should push for it. Everyone gains in the end

 

This. It's frustrating to see a mod with ONE car from a series, or 3 cars which all have the same chassis. I've bought full series and quality tracks, and will again if the quality warrants.

This modder is a joke..... he has started like 5 circuits projects and he never concluded one.

 

Lienz is great. It's a bit outdated and not updated to DX11 but it's really really good

He concluded them (i guess), but won't share or sell to the community unfortunately...

 

and he'd be right. i wouldn't give anything free for the wajdi's of the forum.

 

The modder should give his work only to other modders and nothing to community because of crybabies as wajdi....

IMO he should sell it, if he want to make some profit with it, which i understand, but he's not even open to that idea... unfortunately!

 

The modder also made "Route666" that I recommend at least for offline players.

 

Can you explain me why he has open 4-5 wip threads and he hasn’t finished even one? If you want to be paid, do it and I think a lot would pay for a laserscanned track.
