These are amazing to drive. What a thrill!

My only criticism would be of the AI. It doesn't know how to drive these cars properly and is way off pace. After only 11 laps around Suzuka @120% strength, I was posting faster lap times than their fastest driver. At 120%, I shouldn't even be able to keep up with last place :D

AI strength is very track subjective...bad AIW maybe on that track

Yes, any 'testing' of a new car should be done with S397 tracks and then perhaps later add information from other sources. Even 3pa tracks like Matusika(sp?) should only be tested once a solid picture has been drawn from tracks like S397's Silverstone or Nola or soon.,....SEBRING!!!!!

My Accuforce has plenty of feel as heavy as I like to make it. Needed to set FFB multi to 0.75 so it is not too strong.
    Accuforce profile set to responsive

Having these 70's F1 cars is nice, but rFactor 1 is still the only sim that has complete grids of F1 (and Indy cars) cars and tracks from third parties in 1970's seasons, now if they could be made to work in rF2/Rieza

I agree with this. From my testing, the AI seem not only slow, but they also spin out frequently. I don't know how they spin out, the rear has loads of grip.

Well, isn't easy to model a full grid.
In rf1, you have the 75 mod (those models comes from f1ch)...

In the past, model a car was easiest...less polygons...less details...
Today, you have more power in the graphics engine, so you can add more details...
Developer a car..you know, modeling, texturing, ingame configuring... takes time.

Anyway, exists people thats love this era...and pushing hard to do best work.;););)

Realised post said the items on offer will be sold individually as an option
    Good news

I don’t like having stuff installed that I don’t use etc

Nice to see many comments of people’s desire for good historic tracks , hopethey are valuing the feedback here

Sadly similar results at Silverstone GP and Nola C. I did 5 practice laps, then a 15 minute race, starting from 20th:

Silverstone result: 2nd place, 2 seconds behind the leader
Nola result: 3rd place, on the bumper of 2nd, 4 seconds behind the leader.

High speed sections, like Copse, Maggots and Becketts are the 120% AI's kryptonite, scrubbing off too much speed. I don't think the AI like yaw. Slow speed corner exits though, they absolutely have those nailed. If a track was just two hairpins, I'd be lapped thrice! :D

I've never been a fan of the open wheel historic cars, but the march and the other are really great. But I really need some practice. The switch from gte and gt3 to this beasts isn't as easy as thought.

Insta-love indeed! Did plenty of laps in kyalami 75... i was just imagining a full game and championship with these cars and tracks, or dlc, tracks of quality like historic monaco and spa, it would shake the sim racing world big time, i hope they have a funding opportunity at some point and set to make it happen.

Didnt race any AI (0 ai from prev session) however i noticed sound, although is nice in general and a step up from mods (actual recording on location from historical events -?) it needs work. It has some short flanging probably between samples on power at mid-high revs, also top power revs dont loop in a smooth way and thats annoying tbh. Pitch jumps a bit too high somewhere low-mid revs, pitch from power to coast is too far apart with power being relatively quite high ... aaand from track cam it sounds like a buzzing fly when in power.

I could actually work on these no problem as the samples are already there but the mas is encrypted.

I really hope they continue their development, totally worth it!

some ppl reported low fps with march
its true if you compare it with Brabham BT20 wich has about 25 fps more
March is doing easily 50 fps on my Mid tech (Ryzen 5 1600 RX 580 ) computer in rain conditions
    no stutter no hicups
just fluid racing experience running with 14 AI

4 seconds? Is that with default setup? Damn. I knew I wasn't as quick as I could be, but I was thinking 2 seconds. No confidence braking into the final chicane, losing probably half a second there, also turn 1 is awkward for me. :p I knew I was losing time, just not that much time lol.

I don't rate myself highly as a sim racer at all. Even though I have been playing rF2 with a wheel since 2012, I just plain suck. xD

I have the same issue on my Accuforce. All the rest of the cars are set at a FFB multiplier of 1.0. The Brabham and March require a 2.0 multiplier. I've tried subscribing and unsubscribing. Something strange going on.

FFB on my Thrustmaster TS-PC feels fairly equivalent to other recent releases.
