Who we are: **************** When Race2Play ended in 2016, a group of talented members decided to start their own racing league called Sim Racing Online. Among those people were talented IT specialists, web designers, organizers ect. Among other things, the result was the birth of a highly advanced sign up and result system, that is one of the best you can find in a non-professional sim-racing league. Our goal was to continue the fun we had in sim-racing at R2P and to provide a place for like-minded people to join us and help us expand the SRO community. As our core is sim-racing, we don't have advertisement on the site and we allow everyone to become a member and race with us absolutely free of charge. If you like becoming part of a community of motivated people who focus on fair and clean racing, then come pay us a visit at; http://www.simracingonline.co.uk/ ********************************************************************************************************* Sim Racing Online presents a new Multiclass Endurance Series Multiclass Endurance Pack - Studio 397 Sign up here: http://www.simracingonline.co.uk/racing/seriesinfo/85 Forum: http://www.simracingonline.co.uk/threads/general-info.2743/ ********************************************************************************************************* Introducing the new Endurance Pack from Studio 397, Sim Racing Online is starting up a new Endurance series in September with these amazing cars; Cars 1. Well, the tracks and dates are set. We are still in discussion over the progression and weather settings. For Le Mans we will use variable weather (dry/wet) and time progression (day/night) for sure. 1 or 2 other tracks will also have wet weather periods. All will be finalised in july, 1 month in advance.
OK thanks. As a VR user, the transition period from day-night can get choppy but is ok. Rain however makes it unplayable. Can I take part in just the dry races?
Of course you can take part in the dry events. A good plan would be to sign up for the whole series, and when all is clear, unregister for the events that you can't do. Actually, we didn't account for VR users and rain. That would cut out a lot of potential signups. We'll think this over.
All races will be dry, except for Le Mans and Silverstone; Le Mans = 35% rain change Silverstone = 65% rain change Check the forum link for more details. http://www.simracingonline.co.uk/forums/g-e-a-r-multiclass-endurance.323/
