    Hi all

surprised Kartsim has not created more of a stir & more online action.
Its a really good quailty package & currently perhaps about the very best quality tracks in rfactor2

Karting is where it all starts fo rmany proffesional racers it teaches basic racing disciplines

looking forward to more content becoming available, price is very good for the quality offered too imo

PS its very essential to alter your steering UI setting to 187-200 degrees otherwise everything will feel off & ungreat

It's extremely overpriced. I might pick it up when it goes on sale for at least 50% off -- if they fix the ridiculous giant heads.

Think a lot are waiting for a sale, alot are use to AC cost structure, but isnt x2 karts + 3 tracks about right if it were compared to AC ?
I tend to compare to iracing so it seemed cheap to me, although wrong to compare to different titles I guess

To have a good quailty package that contains offical & scanned tracks etc in rfactor2 is a nice step up

Don’t mind him,if it was free he’d still say it’s overpriced

this confuses me a bit too, but manually changing the hardware wheel degrees really does make a big big diference in Kartsim
-its a must ! be good if we didnt have to though

It depends on what wheel you are using. With osw i need to manually adjust the wheel degrees for every car, but with my old thrustmaster the wheel degrees got adjusted by the game.

Agree with OP. Shame there is not much online fun. Last year I ran an open server with the other karts and rotated the tracks. That got some interest. The Atlanta MSP tracks are especially good. I'll add this to the list for rf2asia to run a fun race at a minimum

Explaining the price is simple: a niche add-on product within a niche sim with bespoke laser scanned tracks and karts.

Price is fine for those who want the best kart experience in a consumer grade sim.

Have you not seen real karting? 11 year old kids wearing helmets are going to look like that...

Those are models of adults. Children's bodies look smaller in the karts.

For those who have small heads and brains like you, all helmets look big

I would think so. What degrees you normally use in bodnar's settings? If you have something between 500-700 degrees it probably feels fine with most cars, but i prefer using the right amount of degrees so that the in game steering wheel movements match with the movements of the real steering wheel.
