    Hi guys,

The last few years I have made/constructed/combined/converted a lot of private mods for own use.
Now all those mods have one big problem with the DX11; way to bright mirrors. And a few others, but I don't mind that; the mirrors make them undrivable.

Now I looked into it and found things like albedo maps, Gjed and so on. I'm not smart enough for that; I cant do it.
My question now is; is there a "quick fix" or even dirty fix for this? I've got 3Dsimed and am able to work somewhat with that. Can I just use a different shader so the brightness is lower? Something like that?

I mean; its private so it doesn't have to be perfect.

Without seeing your shader settings this is purely a educated guess, but try setting the specular color to black.

I use the same settings as you, except instead of pure white for ambient and diffuse, I use 200,200,200, not sure if that matters.

I was also having this problem, and the no lighting T1 solved it.

@Coutie Yes, you are right, that could be better to use 3 x 200 instead of 3 x 255, to avoid unwanted Post Effects now or in future Builds.

    Yes, thats it; thanks guys!
I took the setting from Bernd, but had no idea what the 200,200,200 meant...... but it works; I'm happy!

Or rather, it makes it white in game, but not emissive (which is what caused that issue).

    Greetings.
I have this same problem with my work. I'll try the solution. Thank you. Thank you.

What I could see is that the same mirror seen in multiplayer looks bad, but in local mode it looks good.
