Are there any modders who are interested in doing in the not-too-distant future of road cars ?

I thought cars like supercar/hypercar or at least very sporty.

Indeed, it seems that S397 has no intention of making these types of cars.

I speak of RF2 only, if I found Assetto Corsa realistic enough, I would have had something to do (but AC or the other games do not fit my criteria).

I think the Panoz, the C6 ZR1 PDE, and the NSX-R are successful.
But I think we could wish better, for people also enjoying road cars.

I am curious to know if some modders could find this type of projects interesting.

    Last thing :
The 3 cars that I quote are NOT encrypted !!!!! ---- >>> Maybe someone would like to improve the C6 ZR1 PDE? ;)

I have to say that i really enjoy street cars.
Not for doing races but for the pure driving.
Late at night or just for some chilled driving i will always prefere street cars over race cars.
And I'm kind of sad to hear that S397 won't update the C6, my favorite (official) car in rFactor2.
So I'm really looking forward to Mast3rmini's mods.

I'd like to see some more non-race cars. Maybe not entirely hypercars/supercars but average road cars like the Focus, Golf, M3 and so on.

We've got the Top Gear Test Track but no reasonably priced car.

I allow myself to repeat because I find it relevant :

With another nickname (dadaboomda), knowing that S397 did not envisage at all for the future of RF2 real road cars, I had proposed, I admit a little resigned, to make only one road car.

As this would be the only one, I would have imagined a relatively iconic supercar/hypercar, extremely worked on the physics level (really a very serious basis), and if possible with real car data !

This car would be part of the updated cars when S397 develops new major updates.

We will only have one (with the C6 / Panoz / NSX), but they would be by far the best road car, ALL simulations combined.

And the work of S397 would be, only, that of a car very well done..........

    I think this a reasonable compromise !

May be an interesting idea for S397, or maybe not ! @Marcel Offermans

Not even race track legal. Breaks all the noise regulations in the book and isn't homologated under any FIA rules. So the only way to enjoy it is to own your own race track.

It's a shame that there are noise regulations in motorsports.
Why? Drag Cars aren't quiet at all and why have gt cars to be quiet.....or more silent that they would be!?

If the noise limit for all cars on the circuit would be only the equivalent of a F1 at full speed ..... OK for me !!

    But...........

How to take my son on a circuit under good conditions?
For the races of 24 hours it would be really dangerous.

    It's all about compromise!

Correct, but you could do a Zonda F and have the R as an alternate. Or do a pack.
