Yeah, is not that much, but is a long time compared to other tracks, i was just stating that this is not a cache related issue.

 

You say that till you disconnect from a race and want to desperately get back in the event xD
In these situations would be great if we could try to reconnect without restarting the graphic part like some MOBA games do. Any chance of this being possible @Marcel Offermans? You know the game wont close, you get a message that you lost connection, car is moved to garage, a reconnect button appear in the menu

 

After optimisations update

I’m not looking forward to trying to setup to host again , last time I did with rfactor2 I wasted about 10hrs of my weekend before giving up

I couldn’t find any online servers running kartsim

 

We've had one up for about the last 12 hours...look for -=[FDG]=- it's on the other side of the world to you so dunno how pings would be...shouldn't be too bad though. PFI is first track.

 

It's like the people that call 90fps 'unplayable'

 

their spoilt clearly weren't around for gaming in the 80/90s c64/spectrum/amstrad cassette player. !!

 

That screeching sound went on for ages,you spent most of your time praying it wouldn’t crash,for it to then crash,you’d take the cassette out,blow on it,tighten it,and rinse repeat,lol

 

Anybody remembering this?

It's all worth it. The Kart Sim content is fantastic and I'm having a lot of fun with it.

 

If after 13 pages there are still people saying that it's fantastic, I will buy it asap.

 

They're a lot more seat of your pants than the ISI karts. The ISI ones were on rails until you went .1% over the limit and spinning out.

These you can slide around until you reach the absolute limit and THEN you're off. But I haven't spun the X30s yet.

We now have the full motorsport ladder, with FFord, FR, GP2 and all that.

I cant really find any Kartsim development blogs or track building pics/methods etc
I found a mention (2014) that Kartsim was being built on the Utility engine did they change to rfactor2 after this?

any info appreciated, its just nice to have some back ground if possible

on the basis of this being released & being so good I hope to visit one of the tracks during the summer

Think that's it. KartSim was supposed to be a standalone product but then they began working with 397.

 

Maybe you havent setup properly the isi karts. They require to know how setup a kart and react as they should. In these days Im having fun with the isi ones in these nice 3 tracks. unfortunately these kartsim karts have a very limited field of setup and this limit the fun, but for people that have no wish to fight with the setup they are perfect
