    I've gambled on the 8K. Vive Pro price is ridiculous. I'm sure the view is stunning but not worth $800 IMO. (HMD only)

    My money would go with Pimax review are sweet , wouldn’t touch the Vive for that price , also hearing there support stinks

    But you can get the Vive Pro now. Besides, by the time the Pimax 8K is out it will be my birthday again.:) And I think the 8K is going to be about the same money.

    For racing games I think even the 1080ti will struggle (Pimax) unless graphic are lowered .

    Just HD down sampling will still look good on 4k per eye. Anything over looks better. It's the screen door that makes everything flicker now.

    What resolution are we running now if we SS to 1.5 or 2.0?
    Shouldn't we be fairly ok with Native resolution of these HMD's ?
    Doesn't Pimax run 1440p upscaled or something?

    High definition is a little more then 1k so 2.0 should be more than half way.
    Off topic a little but what causes the flickering edges in VR, mostly with shadows? PC2 is the worst, rF2 is a little better and AC has very little flicker I've noticed. I think more resolution would help but programming seems to have a hand in it as well.
