We have 16 sign ups so far. Pre-season starts in 11 days, come join us to have some great GT3 action!
Server is located in U.S, Winsconsin. I'm in Finland and the ping is around 150 usually, no problems Pre-season starts on Sunday. We have 23 drivers signed up already. Make sure not to miss the fun
We have had very few issues with the server and lag. Early last year we started using a new server box and the bit rate has been dramatically increased since then as well. Ping and latency should not be a problem for anyone at this point. However, we do 2 Pre-seaspn races to be sure everyone has a solid connection and make sure any potential problems are addressed before the points races start. We also recently have subbed to a standard Liveracers account and will have the full liveracers functionality available for our membership.
Due to the popularity of our GT3 series (currently at 32 registrants) it was decided that Lime Rock park was not large enough to ho hold that many drivers safely. The initial pre-season race will now use the RaceRfactor 2014 Monza track. The original post has been updated to reflect this change.
First pre-season event was held in Monza. We had 28 participants which was a great start. We continue working on getting everything ready for the season start on 21st of January. Next up is second pre-season event in Zolder on Sunday 14th of January. We hope to see a large grid again. Pre-season is perfect time for getting in grips with the car and for meeting other drivers taking part in this series. See you on track! -Matt VRC admin team
Second pre-season event was held in Zolder on Sunday 15th. We had a max peak of 24 participants for this second event. Next we are heading for the series opener in Portland International Raceway which will be held on 21st of January. This will be one of our 1 hour races. We are looking forward to a great series! -Matt VRC admin team
The Series opener has been completed. Everyone had a good time and the driving was clean and competitive. The OP was updated with the results of the race.
This comes a bit late, but we had our 2nd race of the series on 28th of January. It was a great event with a big grid. Current series leader is Maciej Bekas but the competition remains close. Next we will head to Valencia Street Circuit, race on Sunday 4th of February. http://simresults.net/180130-b7P -Matt VRC admin team
Valencia Street Circuit is in the books. 18 drivers appeared for this race. It was very clean and there were fights up and down the grid. To say it was an exciting race is an understatement. The OP has been updated with the race results. Next week we travel to NOLA (Layout A) for some wheel to wheel action. If you are interested in joining in on the action register for the league here: www.virtualracingchampionship.com Register for the series here: http://vrc.createaforum.com/series-sign-ups/vrc-2018-gt3-spring-series/ See everyone next week at NOLA.
VRC has completed the NOLA race. This track was difficult to pass at and it showed. The action was bumper to bumper and overtakes were difficult to come by without an error of some sort being made by the leading driver. I'd like to thank everyone who came out for this race and look forward to seeing every one next Sunday for Istanbul. OP was updated with the race results.
Our 5th race of the series was held in Istanbul. Yet again a high quality race. http://simresults.net/180218-k1b Next up is Abu Dhabi!
Thanks for updating the thread Matt... Completely forgot to come over here and post the race results. I'll update the OP.
Abu Dhabi has been completed. A small grid for this race, but the night time racing was fun. Watching the sun rise a treat to end the race. OP updated with the results.
