It is strange I do have that folder under settings but inside it there is only alt.dds for the body paint. There is no altwindow.dds.

I wonder why things are not easier. If there is a template folder why are not all required templates together.

There is a template folder in the root folder of rf2. It's only for the body.

Name the sunstrip template like this:
    • altSKINWINDSHIELDIN.dds
    • altSKINWINDSHIELDOUT.dds

Thanks for the reply, but still not working for me.

About Callaway i-m beguinning to loose my faith because theres no info related in the mas files inside installed//vehicles, just a dds file named extra2 but it is not what we want, just parts as exhaust etcetera

Marcel has answered this today in S397s discord, there is not yet a template, nothing can be done right now :(

Having the original DDS with the correct name should be enough for everybody. There is no need to build a template for windshield and other textures since they are much simpler than the body of the car.

I would suggest to pack all available files in one single zipped file instead of loose psd files.

Can we have an estimate for new skins to be included in the GT3 pack?

The prize for the skin contest has already been called so I guess it should come soon. There are several teams in our league that do not create their own skins and we typically pick existing ones for them.

Just for the ones that are interested what an actual GT3-driver says about:

At one point he says that the car do oversteer where it should understeer.
A setup-thing? What reference/goal has the default setup that S397 choosed?

Would it be possible that the different tire compounds were painted with different colours? Callaway Corvette has yellow Pirelli tires for all S789 tires that I tried.

That way we could easily check if our drivers have complied with the rule of using two different compounds in each wheel. The hotlap system that we regularly use fails to do the job since in gt3 cars you can have different compounds in front and rear axes. The softest compound is logged but is not sufficient.

An upgrade option where all tires should use the same compound would also be welcome.

What TC and ABS levels do people use with the GT3 cars? These are the options in the Difficulty menu (I think). Where you can go Low,Med,High. What equates to 'realistic' for GT3 cars. Other Sims provide what seems to be fine tuning of this from the Setup menu but can't recall ever seeing an equivalent on rF2.

Guys, try gt3 without tc and abs (also on low...). Without, gt3 cars are very easy to drive (like other gt like GT1/Gt2/gt500/gt4/gte etc...). No need to these aids. And do you really think that rf2 correctly simulate abs/tc ?????? No.....

Someone on this forum if I recall correctly mentioned that with TC turned off there is still some default TC level builtin car.
    It wasn't from dev.

How does the TC works anyways and how much is it applied?
    Low = 25%, Medium = 50%, High = 100%? Or equal like Low 33%, Medium 66%, High 100%?

If a car has built-in TC level, how does changing the in-game TC level react to the car?
Is it overriding the car's value?
Is it adding to the car's value?
Or is the in-game value disregarded in that case, meaning changing TC values won't have any effect on car's built-in value?

I've gotten used to keep everything on "off", the only aid I use is the "auto-clutch". Probably not smart since these cars have a degree of traction control and ABS in real life.
