    Hi.

What do you think about my AI settings ?

I want a realistic AI, and an AI which really be carefull to avoid contacts/collision with the player.

For all tracks and cars (I use only S397/ISI cars).
    - AI strength = 100
    - AI aggression = 100
    - AI limiter = 0
    - Player.json = no change in AI settings, AI mistakes : 0.

When AI try to exceed me, often AI don't really avoid impact.
In addition, the start of AI is extremely slow and they often wholesale accidents during the first 2 km from race.

Maybe you should turn down the aggression. They could be getting into a lot of accidents due to being too aggressive, not giving up the place, etc.

    I
I agree. Use default aggression which I think is 30%.

Agree - aggression is much too high. But is car-dependent what they make from it.
I for one add something to AImistakes to make it more lifelike. Something between 0.1 and 0.25

I think the default aggression is 25%, I will put this number (thank's guys).

Concerning AI mistakes I will try again, but not more than 0.1%. They already make a lot of mistakes in some tracks (targa florio for example).

The AI strength is at 95% by default : for realism, should I put 95% or let 100% (for S397 and ISI cars).

Thank you for the help :) !

I’ve found that for the formula Renault 3.5 and Silverstone gt
These settings give me great close side by side racing.
    Ai strength 117
    Ai agression 70%
Ai limiter still working it out but I’m at 15 now
I’m able to qualify 10th ish and work my way up and have a four way battle for first over 18 laps
I like agression to be on the high side because the ai won’t let you just dive bombe them into a corner, they will squeeze you

Sadly, each mod, and each track need some tuning under this compartment to suit people's needs, and they are tightly related to the kind of experience you are looking for : from a casual race without too much effort to put in, to a whole weekend where you want to squeeze all the skiils you have, they require different AI too.

I tried "AI agression" to the standard (25%) and it is not realistic for me (I think). AI at 100% is slightly better than me. They don't try enough to go beyong me. For the moment I am at 75% of AI agression, but probably I will put 60-75%.

I tend to set F1 cars to be between 20-40%, Touring Cars at about 50-70% and Indy/NASCAR a little higher. Then tweak difficulty so I'm fastest by a small margin initially, then scale back so I'm having to work for my poles.
