    Your screenshot shows build 1108 dated July 2017, so indeed you were running a hugely outdated version of DX11.

    @AMillward I would do a fresh install.
    If you want, backup anything you want to keep but I would be hesitant to reuse any of it.
    Then uninstall via Steam then manually delete any folders/files leftover to ensure nothing of the old can taint the new install.

    How has performance been since the update?

    Personally, it has improved for me, thankfully as I use triples, but expectedly there is the vocal minority that have not seen improvements.
    I can understand them being vocal about it but most times I believe the source of the problem is their computer.

    Yeah, most of my issues were caused by overheating but that got sorted over Christmas. It's better, but not perfect.

    Like I said, I was able to run a full V8 grid at Bathurst in October, but in December I had to restart a race at Road Atlanta several times becuse the CPU kept maxing out.

    I'll have a look when I get home.

    You're comparing a GAME with a SIMULATOR, it's like comparing tomatoes with bananas...

    Rf2 is CPU intensive rather than graphically intensive. I read it's because of the tyre physics.

    Or if you compare a Fiat 500 with a Ferrari 599 GTB, they're both cars :D

    Using the full Dx11 version of rf2 and seen a slight increase in performance compared to the beta.

    Thought I'd update you all :)

    But those running DX11 and blaming the sim are usually running outdated processors.
