nick is it possible to have this great program ouput to a second monitor on the same PC as the game and installation?
nickrete I get the driver part working ok (two green boxes) but the manager will not connect. Running on 2nd monitor on local PC transmitting on port 8000 Manager IP 127.0.0.1. Manager data reception box does not turn green. Manager console shows port 8000 Although clicking start data broadcast on driver console I notice that driver transmit boxes do not turn green until after I have clicked start data reception on the manager console Only using windows defender no other antivirus on WIN10. I have successfully used the previous version. Allow exe through firewall has been setup Any suggestions?
whitmore very same as my problem only reply was: "Just need to transmit at 127.0.0.1, i do always !" obviously that is not all that needs to be done.
@philrob you never described the problem @whitmore Is it working okay in single screen ? Can you try with game in window mode please ?
set RF2 into windowed mode. And put driver and manager and game all on the same screen. Everything the same as described in my post. Still no manager data reception.
Could you send the dataready2.txt file from rF2 root ? Also a screenshot please ? PM or redarcherDOTappsATgmail I'll try spot the problem !
I remembered it only happens to me when im spectating a server but NOT checked the Spectator box . . .
@philrob For whitmore the problem was he had not installed the plugin well, using an old version. When unzipping from the file you download get into the created folder (project_rF2v112) and copy all the files/folders to your rFactor2 root directory This way everything will take place. My mistake i included the project_rF2v112 folder into the zip file so you now need to copy over the extracted files to rFactor2 instead of simple unzipping.
Does the missing dataready.txt file need to be added to the zip file or will it self generate when running the files?
