cant subscribe to files in steam workshop

I am having trouble with the "subscribe" button in the steam workshop, the button is lit green, I push it and nothing happens. Also nothing happens when i push the "favorite" button I was able to subscribe to 2 car sets, the stockcar 2015 mod and stockcar2017 car pack.
but have not been able to subscribe or favorite anything since!

 

Are you logged in? Couldn't imagine any other reason.
